SITTI DELIVERS FIRST LOT TO INDIA
As announced in last September (here), after competitive bidding SITTI has been awarded a major contract for Supply Installation Testing & Commissioning (SITC) of a large number of Voice Communication Systems (VCS) and Voice Recording Systems (VRS). This contract represents a big step for the Airport Authority of India (AAI) towards the modernization of their Air Traffic Control infrastructure all over the country. It also represents one of the biggest successes of SITTI in the field of Air Traffic Control. The contract is intended to serve 45 airports across the country, plus Civil Aviation Training College (CATC) and Specialized Maintenance Unit (SMU).
The complete supply of the contract is to be dispatched in five consignments. The Factory Acceptance Test (FAT) for the first consignment, consisting of Voice Communication Systems (VCS) and Voice Recording Systems (VRS) equipment for the following ten stations was conducted and the same was witnessed by the inspectors deputed from Airports Authority of India (AAI) for checking compliance to the equipment specifications

- Dimapur
- Imphal
- Gaya
- Guwahati along with Fallback System
- Patna along with Fallback System
- Ranchi
- Raipur
The Voice Communication Systems which are being supplied to AAI belong to the top performing MULTIFONO® M800IP® family, fully compliant to the international ED 137 VoIP standard for VoIP applications in the Air Traffic Control field. Voice Communication Systems (VCS) [along with Fallback Systems] and Voice Recording Systems (VRS) for this first consignment are ready for dispatch and likely to be delivered by end of January 2020. Installation will be commenced after arrival of systems which will be followed by Site Acceptance Test (SAT).
