SITTI IN CHILE

The International Airport “Carriel Sur” at Concepcion (Talcahuano) is going to have a brand new MULTIFONO® M800IP® system installed. DGAC (Direccion General de Aeronautica Civil) is the Chilean Air Navigation Service Provider whose services will benefit from the new system.

The list of interfaces required by the customer is significantly large and diversified, including the capability of connecting both analogue and VoIP radios and telephones. Such requirements do not represent a problem for SITTI M800IP® system, because this latter is natively capable of dealing with many concurrent types of interfaces, thanks to its modular and distributed architecture.

The following figures give an idea of the customer needs that SITTI M800IP® system is asked to fulfil (in brackets the already foreseen expansion):
• 4W E&M analogue radios in main/standby mode: 8 (+4)
• VoIP ED137 radios in main/standby mode: 8 (+2)
• Best signal selection (BSS) modules: 4
• Analogue telephone lines: 30
• Analogue hot line telephone lines: 20
• SIP/IP telephone connections: 30 (+30)
• Controller Working Positions (CWP): 8

Site Acceptance Test (SAT) is foreseen at the end of 2019.
